Why should you clean your carpets?
When you have carpet in your home it
provides a comfortable surface to walk on, but it also helps with
sound acoustics as well as air filtration. Walking on carpet
brings in soil which can be soluble (grease, oils, food spills)
or insoluble (dirt, sand, debris). When your carpet gets
soiled it begins to break down the carpet fibers commonly known as
fuzz-out. When this happens, there is no repair for this
except to replace the carpet. With regular vacuuming and a
cleaning schedule your carpet will last a long time and still look
good too!
How do we get your carpets clean?
-
Give the area to be cleaned a good vacuuming.
-
Apply hot Cleaning Solution to the carpet.
-
Rake the Cleaning Solution into the carpet.
-
Let Cleaning Solution dwell of the carpet
for ~15 minutes.
-
Use the Steam Extractor and remove the soil
from the carpet.
-
Rake the carpet to let it stand vertical and
straight for rapid drying.
-
Drying time is about 8 hours depending on
humidity.
Equipment we use:
To thoroughly clean carpets and
upholstery you need four things:
suction, chemicals
at the proper
temperature and agitation.
We do this by using an extractor which has 300 cfm of suction and
water pressure ranging from 100 - 500 psi. We heat the
chemicals and rinse water to roughly 180°F. Utilizing a rotary
vacuum head that agitates the chemicals, rinses the carpet and
removes the dirt leaving the carpet fresh and clean. I also
have the option to run as a portable not needing to leave doors open
with hoses running out to a truck. I do however normally run
as a truck mount system utilizing the larger water tanks mounted in
the van.
We complete our cleaning process utilizing
save biodegradable chemicals that are environmentally friendly and
not dangerous to be used around young children and pets.
